This is a city guide to Mannheim. Mannheim's grid system was the inspiration the whole concept and planning to the guide. The streets have a very dull feel to them inside the grid and from an initial glance seems like a boring city.
Taking this into account the concept behind the project was boring and neutral. We've recollected information from each quadrant in the city and created a city guide showing information that when reading it seems boring and pointless, but when actually visiting the location on the quadrant there is a place that is really exciting.
This project was made for a Workshop with Serge Rompza from Node Berlin at the Elisava school of design.
