Digital Mock Up Unit or DMU as it is commonly called at Airbus: is the digital 3D mock up of aircraft design. This is an activity spread across the globe with main activity focused in 4 major Airbus sites and all across the world.

The logo takes its inspiration from the significance of DMU for Aircraft design as this is the single reference for all physical design or the code of sorts. The logo highlights the  collaboration and participation of DMU throughout the design of aircraft starting from design defination to first flight and production.
