Spare a Can or Two Drive was a recent project concerning the lack of nourishment in many households with children. This Drive (Food Can Drive) was included into a Hunger Awareness Campaign, to inform University students of California State University of Dominguez Hills of children growing hungry and their dependence on the Breakfast or Lunch School Programs at their local school. A very sad truth. Fortunately, with the help of many students, staff, family, and friends, my project raised around 264 cans. It may sound like a small amount but I'm glad students came to lend a hand.

This is only one box out of 6, if I remember correctly.
I felt discouraged in the beginning when I hardly saw any canned food items or other food products but all of a sudden I found many more in the box and quickly went from discouraged to encouraged.
I'm glad many students, families, and staff members came to help!
While doing this project, I found photos online of children and took photos of my own to capture the Students' attention. I thank those whose photos were online, it helped me greatly. (They were my little "models").
Many people have helped, thank you.
Anyone can make a difference it just takes action to accomplish it.
Make a difference, let your voice be heard.
Most of all, help others and do what's right.
