The Kawa Porcelain series in an ongoing investigation into the process of batch-production that yields one-of-a-kind results. Rather than relying on traditional plaster molds to form identical replicas of a design, Kawa Vases are individually slip-cast in reusable leather molds. This complex process yields one-of-a-kind porcelain vases, textured by the leather molds in which they are cast.
