For Entertainment Design class, we were assigned to make key art for a movie of our choice. I chose Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain. My efforts resulted in 2 final posters. Both are 24x36.
I was inspired by the movie's theme of loss. Since the official key art is super saturated in color and uses a bold sans serif font, I was adamant about using a serif font and muted colors in order to go in a different direction. I wanted my posters to look less futuristic/sci-fi and more melancholy.
