Overclocked Gaming PC Project - December 2005
Processor: 3.9GHz - Overclocked 3.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading (Prescott 2M Core - Model 650)
Motherboard: ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe
Memory: 2GB Total: Two Corsair CM2X512-8000UL Modules
Video Card: ASUS N6600GT SilentCool 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 (Passive Cooling via Copper Heat Exchanger)
Sound Card: Creative Labs SoundBlaster Xi-Fi Elite Pro
This was my first custom PC project that was completely designed from individual components and not the result of a modded retail unit. In 2006, the processor and video card cooling systems were replaced with a Zalman CNPS9500-LED 3-heatpipe and Zalman VF900-Cu 2-heatpipe fan/heat exchanger systems, respectively. In November 2008, this machine was "retired" to serve as a media server that is capable of real-time HD encoding via TVersity.
