Iceberg - The Tinder for Job Hunting

Problem
I am not a fan of searching for a job and I am sure many others share the same mentality. On top of the pressure, job searching is a tedious and daunting grind. It is an unpleasant experience for most of us, yet we have to go through this in order to start a career.

The story board below is a depiction of a typical college student's experience when looking for a job:

Ideation
I wanted to find a solution to the current job hunting frustrations. I started with asking questions. Why do we do job search? How do we do it? What are some pain points?
Solution
I designed an app to minimize the frustration and likewise improve the job hunting experience. You only need to submit your information once at the beginning. After verification, you can start to look for jobs specifically tailored to you interests and skill sets by swiping left and right. You can apply to ideal jobs with a simple button press.

The app has four competitive advantages when compared to the traditional method: time saving; ease of use; efficiency; and accessibility. Now, you don't have to dedicate a time slot just for job hunting anymore. You can start applying when you are waiting for your coffee or walking to classes.
From the sketches, I moved on to Figma and made a low fidelity protocol. Here, you can start to see the flow of the app.

The top three pictures are user client whereas the bottom three are company client. Although the app was inspired by tinder, I changed the interface to be better suited for business uses. When you are looking for jobs, you want to see key information such as location, job position, full-time vs. part-time, etc., as soon as possible instead of the classic tinder-style profile picture.

On the company side, the company is able to customize application requirements as well as browse through all of their current applicants.
