Record cover design for the Swiss electronic music label EICA Records. The process consists of retaking analogue elements (such as patterns, symbols, logos, etc.) directly from the engines, instruments and tools used by musicians. These graphic elements are then combined together playing with abstraction and difference of scales. They are then overlapped and screen-printed on a special skin-touch, chromolux and extra-rough paper.
The result is a recognisable series of covers that keeps a systematic approach.
This project experiments the representation of electronic music using an analogue process.
