In this project for art I drew Samuel L. Jackson, and John Travolta in ink, and shaded them using cross hatching, and directional shading. Another element I used was form was form, I wanted the viewer to know who they were when they looked at them. One major contributor to the shading in this piece of artwork, was contrast. The black in the pen is the opposite of the the color of the color, so it really helped with contrast, and emphasis.
