Graystone mansion may be as much of a botanical treasure as an architectural one. Each spring, without fail, the western-most lawn is bedizened with these blossoms. I had grandiose plans of shooting what must be a half acre of the flowers but this frame with just a few caught my attention. The deeply brown, almost red stem is as interesting as the blue bloom. The name, anyone?
