Picture of the Week - Week 19
Philadelphia is alive with many large scale events. The Broad Street Run brought more than ten thousand people speeding through a ten mile stretch of this, one of the nation's busiest streets. This was the first year that Lenfest plaza and the new convention center entrance were fully in place and it was great to see ardent runners stop and pull out their cell phones to take snaps of the huge paint brush and city hall. Many that didn't have their photographic gear simply said "Oh cool" as they continued, panting, towards City Hall.
