Mechanical Dagger Concept.
I took upon the task of coming up with an idea for a 1 handed, melee weapon. The weapon had to adhere to a strict Triangle count of 250. I created a simple concept painting for my idea in photoshop, and then modelled the 3D version in 3DSMax, unwrapped in RoadKill, and textures also made in photoshop.
 
After the initial concept, and modelling, I played around with the blade shape, and style to see which would suit best before texturing.
Below is the final model of the dagger at 250 Triangles.
