Immersion in the local environment, listening to music and creating quick, loose sketches informed the design.

The brief was to thoroughly research and investigate a local bike shop, it’s history and culture to create a cycle jersey to be sold in the shop.

My solution is ‘A Story of Cycling in the Community’, where I have taken Paul Klee’s idea of ‘taking a line for a walk’ and I ‘took a line for a bike ride’ and developed shapes and motifs from the local area to create a unique story of the bike shop.

I'm very proud to say the bike shop selected my jersey from the selection to be printed and sold in the shop.
