一個節氣一種花 - The flowers of the solar terms
The 24 Solar Terms (二十四節氣) was created in ancient China. It reflects the changes in climate and the variation of natural phenomena, such as seasons, climates and phenology. The project’s Chinese title (一個節氣一種花) means one flower per one solar term. All of the solar terms have meaningful titles indicating different periods of the seasons, and since flowers and weather are intimately bound to each other, different flowers bloom at different times around the year. The idea of this project is to showcase the different flower that blossoms during each of the solar terms throughout the seasons of the year.
