After Winter
I find great satisfaction in observing how the natural world changes through the seasons. Reflecting on how cold Michigan winters alter the remnants of our family vegetable garden, I decided to scan leftover chilies and tomatoes on a flatbed scanner in order to study the texture, color, and surfaces. The resulting images hold a strange beauty to me.
