Walking wizard

In this case, this painting started as a collaboration for a book cover. The author needed a wizard for his novel, which could appear (or not) in full body and showcasing a dragon on the back (since was present on the book's story). At the end, these ideas where not that relevant so for the cover of the novel another approach was decided. First a quick digital sketch, where the main composition is worked out for later on apply colour tests and the general look needed. Then follows the composition on the canvas with smooth charcoals to paint the initial layer dead layer. All the other layers of paint will be added on top.
Finally, the whole painting is ready for photo shooting and posterior digital post-production in Photoshop.
