Ever since I started photography I always went on the ethos of "fill the frame with what you like". So naturally, sticking the camera as close as possible to something cool is the way to go, right? Ok, maybe there is a little more to it than that. Since inheriting my first DSLR, from the passing of my uncle, I've been learning to use the lense as an extension to my eye. This first culminated in me using the camera as I would a magnifying glass, trying to capture details of things too small to really see with the naked eye. Adapting this to get the composition, lighting, atmosphere and environment of the subject is something I will always be learning and improving upon. But the appreciation of the grace is just about there.
