Stand Against Terrorism
I made this piece as a protest piece of sorts, to simply say that we all must take a stand against terrorism so that an event like 26/11 may never occur again.
This also is a representation of Mumbai itself after 26/11, as even though the city was severely ravaged and damaged, the people still banded together and take a stand. Every religion and every person, no matter the caste, creed, color or sex, all stood together and made a promise to protect the city, so that 26/11 may never occur again.
I made this piece with fabric paint and silk screens.
