Lenovo DoNetwork: Community Building

Our objective was to drive and maintain contestants on the DoNetwork competition by creating campaigns on social medias and online activites. We implemented a QR code campaign on traditional printed ads, which surprisingly brought over 2000 scans. Mentor videos which are on my portfolio, and Twibbon (twitter ribbon) campaigns which were used by over 4000 people to drive traffic during the voting campaign stage.

Outside the design works, our participant acquisition and maintenance strategy includes active engagements on social media, popular forums, offline tech events (FreSh Surabaya, RoTi FreSh, & FoWAB), and the DoNetworks chat rooms as customer service and also as an ever supporting friend.

Indonesia's DoNetwork Campaign brought over a million Indonesian visitors to the site, 1080 participants and over 800 active participants (who completed their projects), the largest group of active participants winning us the 2012 Lenovo World Wide's WOW Award for most effective marketing campaign.
