TRAPPED.
How would we feel when we are oppressed, when our rights are violated and we are unable to do anything about it? What would we do if we are just a cog in the wheel and it's long forgotten that we are living beings? How about the pain separating a calf from its mom in less than half an hour and killing a calf, as young as just a week, for meat? Is this humane?
The painting allows the viewer figure the idea through interpretation. The color choices hint the content and ease the interpretation; a combination palette knife & brushes are used for raw & sharp effects.
