Kids At Koliwada
There was something very appealing about the children at Koliwada. It wasn't just their physical beauty but also their spontaneity and uninhibited behaviour. They had an innocence about them that was so genuine and real. This series of photographs attempts to capture the heartening smiles, gleaming eyes and innocence of the children I met at Koliwada.
This project required us to shoot self-conscious human subjects which presented a whole new set of challenges regarding comfort levels, posing, emotions, arranging for the use of someone else's time and a balance of politeness and assertiveness on the part of the photographer.
If you are shy, get out of your shell! It pays to be friendly and outgoing as a photographer.
