Asia-Pacific Youth, Peace and Security Regional Consultation
and South-South Exchange event (May & July 2017)
Had the opportunity to work with United Nations Volunteers Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific through the UNV portal (www.onlinevolunteering.org)
Asia-Pacific Youth, Peace and Security Regional Consultation: The event aims to seek the views and ideas from young people across the region on peace and security issues. The participants include youth-led organizations, youth activists, NGOs/ CSOs and UN agency partners.
South-South Exchange on Youth Volunteering for SDGs Sharing SEP and other approaches from ASEAN countries: the event aims to Share ASEAN countries’ unique experience and approaches to volunteering and engaging youth to achieve sustainable development. Gathering more than 100 participants including youth, representatives of ASEAN member states, UN agencies, companies, and NGOs/CSOs to learn from each other for achieving the SDGs through youth volunteering and South-South Cooperation.
