Freedom (Escape the Ekka)

Photos from this series were taken of the characters and shopfront designs from Sideshow Alley at the Ekka. For years, these cheap character knockoffs have been the visual prostitutes for young Ekka goers. Spending 358 days of the year stored in the dark, these poor things are dragged out into the blinding neon lights and are subjected to god knows what by the masses of silly fun-seekers. Project Freedom is the least these statues deserve; to be restored to their true glory. Each character and store front has been reimagined to shed the demoralizing chains of the Ekka. #oneperday17
