Visual identity design for Lacoco, a cafe / meetup-hub located in East Jakarta, Indonesia. This cafe was started as a place to drink a coconut, stated in their previous name "La Coco" which is mean "The Coconut". As the business grows, they start to sell other products and create the cafe mood looks more general. So we help them to rejuvenate their brand by changing the name first from "La Coco" into "Lacoco" as they not only sell coconut, but also specialty coffee and other food & beverages.
The identity designed to look more simple and less graphic to support the overall brand positioning. Main symbol of Lacoco logo created from the consonant letter of the brand name, which is spelled into LCC. It will help the name to be recognized easily by the audiences and also creating a brand symbol that have a strong characteristic which they have not had before.
