Project Description: For this project, we had to create a poster with a quote from and in the style of a graphic designer from the Modernist Period. For our poster, we chose Paul Rand. We chose him because we all enjoy his design style and because he has many memorable quotes.

Final Explanation: We chose to model our poster off of one of Paul Rand's IBM posters. We used a bunch of squares to emulate Paul's geometric designs. We also used an icon of Rand's glasses to reemphasize who this poster is about. Then we placed the text over the image and changed the color of words of emphasis to match colors in the squares. Finally, we made a rebus of Paul's name using a dog paw, an owl and a man running next to a d. This mimics the rebus which Paul Rand designed as IBM's logo.
