This was one of the first logos I had the opportunity to work on. I worked with the Young Adults Director on coming up with a logo that represented the Young Adult community they have at Peace Portal. The circle represents the context of the ministry and that Young Adults ministry has boundaries to it, such as age and faith. The letters represent the process from moving from a "Young" person to an "Adult" person. The "Y" is for who we are when we come in. And the "A" is who we leave as. The whole process of the ministry it to help people mature in their faith from being a youth to an adult.
