Client - Whitney High School CTE Program

Objective - Create a logo for use by the Career and Technical Education section of Whitney High School.

Initial experimentation with type, I decided to use this font (Bemio) and create a logo by manipulating the type and creating a ligature.

First version, I used a serif and sans-serif font to create a distinction between the school and the program.

Second Versions, here I experimented with reversed out type/negative space and used similar font styles to create a sense of unity.

Third Versions, this time featuring overlapping text for unity.

This was the design that received the most positive feedback, and with revisions was employed as the Whitney High School CTE logo.
