Brighton Mini Maker Faire

Brighton Mini Maker Faire
I was asked to produce a large free-standing floorplan of the Corn Exchange in Brighton for the Mini Maker Faire. The challenge was to make a plan out of felt (not my usual medium), using 'Make' brand colours with exhibitors labels which needed to be attached right at the last minute to acommodate any changes. I wanted to incorporate the arduino motif in some way so made the larger areas into an arduino shape and referenced electronic circuitry elsewhere in the design. I also added a blue 'you are here' light, a little bit of soft electronics.

I also produced a print version just for those on the info desk to help navigate visitors and brought along my beloved usb typewriter as a fun way for visitors to input data in a digital/analogue format on the evaluation forms. Very Maker Faire!
