I didn't had to much time for the Harry Potter character design contest. I merely made one or two doodles before the one that is shown below. I had to rush with the painting and ended up with something I wasn't proud of. 

So after the deadline, I wanted to improve the rendering because I saw potential in this piece. I'm glad I did it, 'cause I ended up loving this piece.
