Wunderkammer Project - Cabinet of Curiosities

The aim of this project was to explore methods and mediums engaged in the design process. We were told told to explore method that we do not usually use and the aim of this was to propose a new theory or plan for the design process. This project challenged my resourcefulness, personal organisation, critical abilities and capacity to think. I focused this project on the idea of personification for site analysis. This was done to express the 'stress' put on a busy road during different times of the day. I used a number of different methods that can be seen below, including collage, a 'moving image', the use of sound and light (to influence those experiencing the project in attempt to influence them to feel how the site feels) and model making. This project helped me to explore an abstract way of thinking.
