The interactive screen on both sides projects comments via text message or blog posts about the current book being discussed. This provides a way for people to participate in a discussion without necessarily being a part of one of the physical meeting groups.
The space is bound by three vertical sides and one screen that stretches across the top to create a canopy. The three 'walls' are cut out to shelve books, to store stools, and to provide a space for people to lounge. The long wall can be slid open along a track at the base to open up the structure.
Nook is shown here place outside of the Public Library in downtown Manhattan. This is just one example of where it could be placed and how it could fit into an outdoor environment.
