I decided not to work with a specific subculture, but with the very base of every subculture, which is an alternative. Each subculture
is alternative option to the mainstream and also alternative to other subcultures.
I made two uppers for each shoe. The first is a classic one made from black leather, the second alternative one is from metal
(aluminium). Both uppers are connected with the metal wire. Because the alternative can not exist on its own, it’s always connected
with other options.
