This project was a digital relief print. Relief Printing is a technique that uses carving, inking, and stamping to create an image. It is one of the earliest forms of printed illustration. Although this is not an actual relief print, I wanted to create that same aesthetic through digital means.

The bear image turned out quite successful. I also experimented further creating a hippo and lion as a more in depth exploration of this technique.
