Second in my 'King' series which endeavours to symbolise and capture the essence of some of our most endangered creatures and how their strife is a reflection of our own ignorance and apathy when it comes to protecting our only home and its diverse environment and inhabitants.
The Jungle King represents the magnificent Tiger, the tree of life wends across his regal brow and birds fly in the patterns of his coat showing the subtle interconnectedness of all things in this world. He is surrounded by darkness but he is relaxed in his environment facing the future with a calm gaze.
