One of the major projects I undertook at Transformer was to refresh the website with respect to the existing brand identity. The requirements of this website were to showcase projects, communicate our ethos and studio culture. This required a fresh, considered approach with how the content was generated and created.
Full-width images took precedence to showcase the high-resolution photography. I art directed, photographed each project and also produced the studio imagery that was to be used in our social media strategy. The treatment of the website also required consolidating their visual language of the rest of our communications, from the blogs to the digital quarterly newsletter.
The expansive and tightly composed photography was complimented by the use of Founders Grotesk by Klim Type Foundry.
