Block Boxers: Character Design & 3D Game Assets

Open Egg, the owners of this project, needed assets for a mobile boxing game. They wanted little animation, in favor of floating body parts. They also wanted a method where multiple characters could be created out of a toolbox of expressive assets: This is achieved through utilizing different textures and facial hair. 

The sample they wanted to look like Hulk Hogan and all in a style reminiscent of voxel art.
Block Boxers needed a few specially made "Boss" boxers for level achievement. These were elemental boxers with special powers. I gave them frosty and rocko.

Low poly render in Blender, with textures and bump maps made in Zbrush.
