Graphics II Final Project

For the Graphics II Project, we were assigned a floor plan and front and side elevations of a cottage that we were to recreate in five images: a two-point perspective exterior rendered in watercolor, a one-point perspective living room rendered in marker, a one-point perspective bedroom line drawing, a two-point perspective breakfast room line drawing and a two-point perspective kitchen rendered in marker. The above scene is a two-point perspective of the cottage rendered in watercolor.
The pictured one-point perspective is my final rough draft of the master bedroom and its included furniture.
The image above represents the final rough draft of the one-point perspective living room from floor plan along with its included furniture, accents and windows.
The space above is a rough draft, two-point perspective of the breakfast room.
The two-point perspective presented above is representative of the rough draft of the kitchen and its components drafted from floor plan- along with a woman drafted to scale.
The floor plan above is the first story of the cottage representing the three grids used to draft the kitchen, breakfast room and living room in correct perspective.
The floor plan above represents the cottage's second story and annotates the bedroom grid and furniture and wall placement.
The grid above was used to create the master bedroom in a one point perspective view.
The above view represents a rough sketch blocking of the main components in the master bedroom that were later used to help indicate furniture and wall placement.
The one-point perspective grid and vanishing point above were used to establish the layout of the furniture, walls and windows in the living room perspective drawing.
The grid and lines above assisted in drafting an accurate two-point perspective grid and vanishing points for the breakfast room.
The grid pictured was used to draft the furniture and lay out of the two-point perspective breakfast room.
The above grid and lines represent the grid used to create a two-point perspective grid for the kitchen- including the floor plan grid. standing point and vanishing lines.
The two-point perspective grid above was used to draft the kitchen, from floor plan, into a two-point perspective view.
