Taskly UX Process.

Through research, design and testing, with the user in mind, I created Taskly.
A minimalist task management solution built to help increase productivity.
This UX process is explained below step by step.
Step 1: Competitor Analysis
Analysis conducted to study Taskly competition and find a possible niche.
Step 2: User Testing
Online poll in order to define Taskly main features.
Step 3: Personas
Possible early adopters gain a name and a face.
Step 4: User Journey
We start thinking about the user's interactions with Taskly.
Step 5: Experience Mapping
This wouldn't be UX if we did not care about the user's feelings.
Ok! Let's start thinking about Architecture and Design.
I have conducted a few card sorting exercises and came up with a Site Map.
Step 6: Site Map
Step 7: Wireframes
After a lot of sketching, it's time to put together some lo-fi wireframes.
Step 8: UI Kit and Design
Taskly's identity is what will make it gain it's market share.
Step 9: A/B Testing
I wanted to test the hypothesis that having copy on the sign-up screen indicating how many steps were needed to sign up would actually improve conversion rate. Using the non-copy version as my control design and the one with copy as the variation I conducted a simple online AB test session.
Step 10: Design
How to create a project in Taskly (Video).
Built mobile first, Taskly is web responsive and multi-platform.
Taking the UX Course for more or less 24 weeks was really something.
The process involved is not only about doing but is mostly about asking questions and really be able to find the right answers.
During the course I have blogged about my experience.
