A collaboration with printer Amos Kennedy. This poster was made to promote the Hermitage No Kill Cat Shelter in Tucson, AZ.
A zine focusing on the issue of deforestation. I hand set the type and made a photopolymer plate for the tree ring image. The saw symbol is a pre-made ornament, and inside each saw shape I left a red thumbprint in acrylic paint, alluding to the idea of human interference when it comes to our environment. -- I made a total of 70 booklets, with 6 flat prints. 22 of the white booklets are going to be traded with letterpress students at Arizona State University, and the other 22 white booklets will go to each of my classmates and teacher. It's also possible that some of our zines will become part of the College Book Art Association (CBAA) traveling art book exhibition, and all of our zines will be part of their digital archive.
