When I first started at StudentUniverse, the company was in the middle of a rebranding process, having recently rolled out a new website design. StudentUniverse is a travel company that sells discount airfare to college students. It recently branched out further into the college market by launching a deals platform, and sponsoring offline college-student-targeted events such as College Day at Fenway Park and Spring Break at Panama City Beach.
I used the StudentUniverse colors, teal blue and bright green to create an eight-tone palette, and used this palette to create original vector illustrations and coherent look for all StudentUniverse marketing materials.
COLOR PALETTE AND ILLUSTRATIONS
This eight tone palette involves 4 tones of green and 4 tones of blue. Sometimes, an orange is used for accent.
