Baltimore Farmer's Market Proposal

Project Brief: The Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts (BOPA) is requesting grant proposals. The goal is to promote Baltimore Cultural Institutions to visitors youth through 30 years old. Studies have shown that community involvement and civic engagement fosters individuals who give back when they are older. These people will be able to support and fund the institutions in the future.

This is a proposal for the Baltimore Collegetown Network Shuttle system to add another stop to the Sunday schedule for the Baltimore Farmers Market. I chose to target college students because when visiting the farmers market my observation was that there seemed to be a lack of patrons between the ages of 18 to 20. I chose the Baltimore Collegetown Network shuttle system because student from multiple colleges and universities have access to it.

The booklet below outlines my design process in defining the problem: College students tend not to frequent the Baltimore Farmer's Market, solving the problem: Creating a new stop for the Baltimore Collegetown Network Shuttle system, and creating a marketing strategy: Bus stop banners, school banners, stickers, and social media.
