Portrait of a Lady, Walter Hannemann, 1913, oil on canvas
Before conservation and restoration.
The painting was cleaned and flattened. The edges were reinforced with linen stripes allowing safe fixing the painting onto the stretcher. Holes of the support were butted with patches of linen and losses in the painting layer were filled with putty and retouched.
After conservation and restoration.
