Horseshoe Casino Baltimore Marketing and Design

Being the big Ravens fan that I am, I was excited to work on the ribbon designs that ran during Raven home games! The ribbons showed everything the casino had to offer, celebrity restaurants, gambling, and live music. Other ribbon designs I coordinated displayed information on our biggest promotions. The stadium was 100 yards away from the casino. This marketing helped get new clientele other than your typical gamblers to enter the casino.
I was given the opportunity to design Horseshoe Casino's Table Games Dealer Academy. I wanted to spruce up the interior walls to excite the dealers for their future career. Keeping to the gold Horseshoe's brand, but also adding graphics, inspirational quotes and Horseshoe slogans. The gold and red colors reflect the dealer's uniforms. The graphics have shadows giving the room depth and added image of the casino floor helps break up the room. Overall I think this is a great representation of our dealers. I even received a lot of compliments!

I was in charge of all creative for the casino even for back of house employee projects. Here is an invitation I designed for the celebration of the 100th day of being opened and operating as a casino! I wanted the invite to look fancy, since this was a big celebration and to also show how appreciative we are of our employees and their hard work. Even though this was for BOH employees I still wanted to show the sophisticated, gold Horseshoe brand.
I had to design displays for our biggest monthly promotions. I coordinated with the promotions department and outside vendors to get the job completed by the proposed drop date. Suitcase Man is our most popular reoccurring yearly promotion. It is based off of a true story about a man that doubled his money on a hand at blackjack. For this concept I wanted to exaggerate and literally show guests that this is our biggest and most popular event with a giant suitcase filled with money. The inside of the suitcase also tells the story of the suitcase man to remind guests that Horseshoe is all about the gambler and you can win big!
I designed, coordinated and scheduled ad insertions in the local papers; Baltimore Magazine, City Paper, Baltimore Sun and the Baltimore Business Journal. Pictured above is an eight page spread I designed for the Baltimore Business Journal that highlighted our success after one year opening. After completing this task, I was awarded from Horseshoe with the Legends Club Award in the category Diversity. Working on this project I proudly showed how the casino is very helpful in the community, providing jobs, community service, donating money, and giving out money! It was an accomplishment of mine since six people are recognized a month for different categories. I was happy to show off for the company I work for, for all of Baltimore to see!
