ADVERTISING ILLUSTRATION - Alter Egos and Selfie

Alter Ego 1: Inspired by advertising posters from Old Shanghai (during the 1920s-1930s). These posters always featured elegant women and advertised everything ranging from cigarettes, whiskey, laundry soap, bug spray, perfume, and virtually anything else that could be sold.
Alter Ego 2: Inspired by my fondness of martial arts films, especially ones with strong female characters. I've always wanted to see a female character who wasn't "just another pretty face."
The Selfie: Inspired by the vibrant use of color in Suspiria, one of my favorite horror films. In the film, there is a terrifying scene involving an enormous, primary-colored stained glass window that inspired the color scheme for this piece.
