Brief
Sourcing an article, design an editorial extract for Time magazine based on a subculture of my choice.
My Approach
My editorial was based on the hippie subculture. I made the images myself using a mixture of illustration, printmaking, fabric art and digital manipulation techniques. I wanted the images to reflect the colours, uniqueness, beliefs and characteristics of the subculture. I thought about the use of white space, type, grids and hierarchy when designing this editorial.
