The Journalism and Art Festival, organised by the department of Journalism at the London College of Communication, was an event aimed at addressing the possibilities and current practices in the field of Journalism and Art. The idea was to understand and explore how these two seemingly disparate fields can and are being brought together, through the bridging of the gap between both, their content and individual practices.

As a part of a collaboration between illustration and journalism students, I was responsible for creating a panel in a documentary comic on the evolution of Elephant & Castle, in the wake of the planned redevelopment of the area. The collaboration was between illustrators Yue Zhang, Xixi Zheng, myself and journalist Emily Slupecka, guided by Dr. Nina Mickwitz, Lecturer in Contextual Studies (Interactive and Visual Communication) at London College of Communication and author of Documentary Comics - Graphic Truth-Telling in a Skeptical Age.
