This project investigates various hand weaving techniques. Different types of basic weaves were sampled on a hand-made cardboard loom. This was followed by a tapestry woven on a frame loom inspired by a painting of choice ("Dragonflies" by the Sri Lankan artist Senaka Senanayake). 

The colours and textures explored were further abstracted in the form of a rug, woven on a handloom using acrylic yarn.
