Senior thesis book about right-brain intelligence, its importance in the 21st century, and how it will affect the role of designers. For the most part, our society has been very left-brained dominant and driven. But now things are changing. Innovation, creative solutions, and understanding the world and the people around us will soon become the skills needed to get ahead. Think of this this way: creativity and new ideas are harder to outsource, and cannot be generated by a machine or technology. Design will be very important in the next century, and here is why. My goal was to create a book that thoroughly explores this topic, starting from the very basics of what are the left and right brain functions, to how designers are fit and ideal for the changing world. Aesthetically, I wanted to create a beautiful piece that represents the symphony of all of the parts that go into the creative process.
