Belgrade won the 2012 bid to organize European University Debate Championship. At first I declined to make a logo for this competition because I was occupied with other assignments, and I thought they are not a serious organization.
Later on they asked me again to help them out with tram branding, billboard and brochure. It was then that I realized that this is a competition with around 600 participants, with a very serious budget and a crew that is well recognized in world wide debating circles.
What I designed is something visually aggressive. I reasoned that with so few billboards and trams they needed all the attention they could get.
