Writing for Rights: Human Trafficking

This was a 3d year Illustration project where we could choose between creating 3D typography for Xenophobia or human trafficking.  I chose human trafficking.  My concept is that people promise other people things and they use these promises as bait to kidnap people.  Each letter is made of wood and there is a gap in the middle between each letter and I put content in between the letters, like sweets, money, clothes, pills, etc.  It symbolises things that people usually promise to give others.  The word is placed underneath a box that is held up with a stick. When you pull the rope that is connected to the stick, the box falls and you are trapped inside the box if you accepted any of these people's promises.
